Latino Programs
We hope you were able to join us at Pearson Park Amphitheatre on Saturday, April 28, 2012 for our 19th annual Hermosa y Protegida, a Latino transgender pageant focusing on HIV Prevention. If you've never been to Hermosa y Protegida, check out this great short documentary film about the pageant. More information for the 2013 Hermosa y Protegida to come soon.
The Center OC excels at providing Spanish language services and fostering community building. The Chicos Activos, Grupo de Apoyo para Mujeres Transgenero (Transgender Latina Support Group) and Hermosa y Protegida programs provide outreach, educational workshops, risk reduction counseling, discussion groups, large community events such as transgender and gay men’s beauty pageants, and social events.
