Latino Programs
The Center OC excels at providing Spanish language services and fostering community building. The Chicos Activos and Hermosa y Protegida programs provide outreach, educational workshops, risk reduction counseling, discussion groups, large community events such as transgender and gay men’s beauty pageants, and social events.
This year's Hermosa y Protegida was a blast! We hope you were able to join us for our 18th Annual Latino transgender pageant focusing on HIV Prevention on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Pearson Park Amphitheatre. Our reigning queen is Andrea del Rocio. Whether you enjoyed it live or missed the excitement, check out this great short documentary film about the pageant.
