Women's Health

The healthcare needs of lesbian, bisexual, and transgender women are often overlooked. The Center Orange County has made women's health a priority by making it a part of our strategic plan and by doing work to make culturally competent women’s health education and services more accessible to the women in our community.

Services we currently offer include:

Breast health parties -- Ever dream of throwing a party in honor of breasts? Looking for an excuse to get your friends together to talk about boobs? Here's the plan: All you do is invite 10-12 of your friends to your home. We'll do the rest. We bring the invitations, refreshments, games and party favors. We'll even throw in a fun facilitator to make sure everyone has a good time. Each party will be one part chatting about breasts, one part breast health education, and 10 parts fun. Parties will last about two hours and can be scheduled at a time that's convenient for you and your friends.

Mammography Day -- We all know that getting one's boobs squished doesn't always have to be a bad thing. It all comes down to who is doing the squishing and whether they make it a good time! With this in mind, The Center Orange County will host a Mammography Day that will be just a little bit of squishing and a lot of fun. Our Mammography Day will feature food (hello chocolate!), entertainment, prizes, and more. Please stay tuned for an exact date and more details.
